Mental Health Wellbeing

These seems the buzzword these days; mental health and your emotional wellbeing.

Like many things in life, I have conflicting feelings about it. On one aspect, I think it is brandished around both as a crutch and also a flag. Some people say you shouldn’t push or being strict on someone (or them) because of maintaining the mental wellness. Some other people meanwhile touted people who manages to succeed ‘despite’ their challenges.

On another aspect, I believe that COVID showed what or how it can be very tiring to be isolated, both to the body and the mind. And how it is possible to be so depressed when we are deprived of human connections. During that time, I feel the silence pronounced as I was staying alone and working from home. There is still the work related stimulation and connection, but it still is a bit scary. And I thought now if I was in a good position and condition (with no disaster in life), could feel like that, it could have been even worse for people who have been facing troubles in their life.

So yeah, mental illness is true.
