The Best Planner

I use a todo list, and among the tasks on it are the things that I planned (or more likely hoped) to do when I go for holiday in Malaysia. One of it to visit my father’s grave.

Today I was reminded of the task, as I had hoped to go back to Malaysia during Easter. Alas, the ticket was too high and the kids’ holidays weren’t aligned with Eid/Raya, so the plan was long scrapped but the task was set to remind me on Easter, which is within these days.

That task also said to visit my father’s grave with my brother. Alas, my brother himself passed away 6 weeks ago. Oh how we plan, but He is the best planner.

May Allah grant my brothers and father forgiveness.

Thank you for reading.

The weather was quite nice this past weeks. I would never have understood this before, but I drove around with the windows down last weekend as we went to the beach.
