AI Use Case – Learning Language
I’ve subscribed to chatGPT premium or whatever it is called that you have to paid, so I am making use of it. I’ve previously asked it to translate and transliterate a Korean song, and it was quite useful. It collected all the notes from websites that do all the lyrics, and put a ‘human’ touch to the summary. Amazing.
Of course I don’t speak Korean, so it was not that useful. I was listening to a long-forgotten German song today and thought I would do the same. I also asked it to correct my questions and grammars, so that I can improve my German. It did quite a good job, although it gets a bit annoying as it corrected all my capitals and punctuation.

Quite a long and detailed answer. I then asked a bit unusual part of the song, but I was lazy to type the words so I put “blablabla” and it misunderstood the question. It took the word literally and kept explaining about the term “blablabla’. Ugh.
Anyways I did learn a bit but most importantly I don’t think the same conversation would be possible with a human, not unless the person happens to speak German AND like the artist AND has heard the song. That’s quite a requirement, so in this case an AI has certainly been useful.
