Allah is The Best Planner

Recently I went on a training, where some of the trainees and trainer asked how is it feels working with the company I am working with. I said it was okay, as the environment is relaxed and I got to learn a lot. Later they went to say and lavish compliments on the company, saying that it is a well-known and great company, especially in the railway signalling industry.

I’m quite surprised actually. I know now the people I work with are smart, but I didn’t know that the reputation they and the company have. Heck I never even have heard of it before applying for the job.

Going a few years back, a colleague of mine resigned and came to work in the UK with a very famous consultancy. Seeing how it has worked out for him, I followed suit. To my dismay, I didn’t pass the interview.

It was a very stressful experience. The uncertainty of where you’re going to get the money to pay for your groceries adds to the disappointment that my plan didn’t worked out. How come I didn’t get the job, I thought. Long story short though, I landed the position at the current company I am working now.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I thought that I had it all planned out but in the end, Allah’s plan is better (and the best), as I would not have imagined to google for this company and apply for the position. I’m writing this down so that this reminds myself when I am in the state of uncertainty in the future as things always work out in the end.

If it doesn’t, it is not the end.

Thank you for reading.
