A friend and an ex-colleague of mine invited to his house for some pizza yesterday. We talked and he asked how\u2019s life, considering we haven\u2019t met for more than a year after he resigned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a simple question, and was responded with simple answers. Basically updates of my life (and also work details) and what has happened or changed since. What I found interesting was the act of answering made me realise all the changes that has happened, most of them I have taken just as part of everyday life. Trying to recap all that made me realise that I got quite a lot of things going. \u201cLife\u2019s good,\u201d I summarised. Alhamdulillah. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What\u2019s more the process makes you appreciate the process of talking to another person about your life events. It\u2019s almost cathartic in a way. I have read and believe the positive effects in journaling, but there is something more to have a conversation with someone that understands the significance of the changes that has happened, and see the reactions. It\u2019s like reliving back the joy\/excitement of the moments themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So I guess the moral is to go and have pizza with loss friends?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
