I\u2019m a fan of learning new things and in the same vein, re-learning things that I have learnt before. For example I\u2019ve relearned how to drive when I came to the UK, in order to pass the driving licence test. I\u2019ve also relearned about signalling when I move to the UK, and also learned new things about signalling, especially regarding mainline signalling. I\u2019ve even relearned how to speak English when I moved to Manchester.

But never was I asked to relearn to speak a number before, not until today. I was preparing pasta for my youngest daughter who asked me how long it would take.
\u201cThree minutes,\u201d I said.
She said okay. Then she said, \u201cCan you relearn to speak three?\u201d She emphasised the \u2018th\u2019 in the word three.
What did she just said, I thought to myself.
\u201cIt\u2019s three, not tree,\u201d she added.

Own the audacity! I played around with her and pretended not to understand but in the end I had to relearn how to pronounce threeee. Well you learn new things everyday. I\u2019ll relearn to pronounce the word \u2018four\u2019 maybe, tomorrow.
