I normally walked to work so it has been a while since I had to drive to anywhere, for work. I did go to the same site last year but it was with another colleague, who did all the driving. So I arrived late. After around 60 minutes, I arrived. The traffic added around 20 minutes more.

It was even worse on the way back. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes. And it was very boring, driving slowly through traffic. It’s been a while since I go through jams but I this bring back all the memories. I am reminded by how much time was spent driving I used to do, that made me realise how much I hate it and how lucky I am to have a workplace so close to home.

Sometimes you need to be reminded of hardship, and how far you’ve come, to be able to be grateful.

Thank you for reading.

I went to a client site today which was around 80km from my house.
